Grant Associates is focused on raising the economic security of the people, businesses, and communities we serve through workforce development, business insight, and bold ideas. Now more than ever, as businesses and workers struggle through the economic hardships brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, our customers need the vital support and assistance we provide day in and day out.
During this time, our priority is the health and safety of our staff and customers. Our teams continue to follow guidance from the CDC and WHO and we encourage you to do the same. If you have an appointment scheduled with one of our programs, we encourage you to call ahead for the latest update on any closures or consider a phone or video chat rather than attending in-person.
Many of our employees are now working virtually from home as communities close career centers to the public to reduce the risk of infection for customers and staff. While our teams are not physically “at the office,” they are still working to provide career services, training, job search support, and other valuable resources to customers. We continue working with small businesses to connect them to financial assistance that can help them weather the economic challenges they are facing, and strategizing plans for businesses of all sizes to come out of this situation with a strong pipeline of skilled candidates ready to meet the demands of their new market realities.
Our staff are reaching out to the cities, partners and customers we work with to find out what people need and what resources–either those that currently exist or those that could be created–will meet those needs. Where we can serve the needs directly we are doing so. Where we can identify other resources we are communicating them, and when we can help communities create new resources, we are partnering with them to do so. In times like these, we are all partners in finding solutions that get people and businesses back on the road to economic recovery.
Thank you to our dedicated staff, to our customers and our community partners as we work together to meet the challenges our communities face now and in the months ahead. Together we will persevere.
