Asset Mapping

Grant Associates will work with you in this consulting engagement to create a final report including a detailed asset mapping analysis.  This report will include information, both qualitative and quantitative, on each identified program, including costs, student demographics and qualifications, and insights from program leaders on strengths, challenges and opportunities as they relate to available programs and regional coordination.

We will work with board and staff leadership to conduct a comprehensive scan and review of available education and training programs throughout the designated region. Depending on the client’s needs, specific focus may be placed on programs leading to NAM-Endorsed Skills Certifications, high demand occupations, and other education/training programs focused on targeted industry sectors.

Our offering includes:

  • Stakeholder Identification & Outreach – identify key stakeholders, both individuals and institutions. These stakeholders will be critical both in providing primary data for the asset mapping process as well as identifying other resources and data instrumental to the project. Grant Associates will look to convene a group of key stakeholders to introduce the project, build buy-in and support, and deliver a foundational messaging of partnership.
  • Research and Data Collection – conduct online research as well as direct outreach to education and training providers to collect the necessary program data and demographics. This may include interviews, surveys, and other data collection tools.
  • Draft Report and Initial Finding – Grant Associates will provide a draft report that includes all the proposed findings listed in the RFQ as well as any additional requirements identified during the project kick-off. We recommend convening a stakeholder roundtable during this time to review the initial findings as well to uncover any data gaps.
  • Final Report and Presentation – Grant Associates will provide the client with a final report on the project to include project details, deliverables and recommended next steps. Grant Associates staff will be available to present the final report to the Board and other community stakeholders at the Board’s request.
