Senior Vice President Joins New York City Employment and Training Coalition Board

Paula Bailey, Grant Associates’ Senior Vice President, New York Operations, was appointed to the Board of Directors of the New York City Employment and Training Coalition (NYCE&TC) on April 28.

The NYCE&TC is an association of 200 community-based organizations, educational institutions and labor unions focused on workforce development that provide job training and employment services to more than 750,000 New Yorkers every year, including welfare recipients, unemployed workers, low-wage workers, at-risk youth, the formerly incarcerated, immigrants and the mentally and physically disabled.

Ms. Bailey brings to NYCE&TC her considerable long-term experience advising businesses on their workforce challenges, counseling job seekers on their employment goals, and managing the Grant Associates-operated Queens Workforce1 Career Center and Back2Work program. Previously, Ms. Bailey served as the Director of Employment at the Partnership for New York City and as a Senior Corporate Representative at America Works New York.

“I’m very excited to be working with the Board to help the coalition carry out its mission of strengthening New York City’s workforce and helping residents to find sustainable employment and create financial stability,” Ms. Bailey said.
