HISTORY
Three corporate executives,
Dale Grant, Diane Weilgus and Paula Bailey, founded our company
in 1997, to consult to America's largest companies about a promising
untapped pool of labor---those economically disadvantaged workers
who do not live in neighborhoods or know people to lead them to
corporate America's front door. The bottom line was increasing bottom
line results. But Grant Associates' business clients found
other important bi-products: internal joy in changing people's lives,
an outpouring of energy and ideas flourishing in a diverse workforce,
and a public that is grateful for the company's contribution to
community enrichment.
Today, under local, state and federal government
employment and training contracts that serve people who are low
income, have barriers to employment or who are simply unemployed
as a result the economy, Grant Associates provides staffing services
to more than 1000 private businesses, placing almost 150 workers
each month. And, advising such businesses as JP Morgan Chase, Starwood
Hotels, Aramark, Xerox, CVS Pharmacy and Toys R Us Grant Associates
has helped establish public employment initiatives in more than
twenty states.
We serve three masters. Our responsibility is
to produce exceptional outcomes to government, our promise is to
deliver world class staffing to business and our passion is to change
the lives of the people who come through our doors.
