Madison Strategies Group (MSG) was honored on April 28 at the 21st Annual “Women Mean Business” luncheon to benefit the Coalition for the Homeless’ First Step Job Training Program. Kristin Morse, Executive Director, accepted a Corporate Partnership Award on behalf of MSG, the non-profit organization established in 2011 by Dale Grant, President of Grant Associates. MSG was honored for helping to prepare and place First Step graduates into employment. “We are honored by this recognition and pleased to collaborate with the Coalition for the Homeless,” Ms. Morse said. “First Step and Madison Strategies are aligned in their purpose of providing women with the skills and career connections they need to escape poverty.” MSG’s mission is to help people reach their full potential and achieve economic mobility by developing and delivering innovative employment, education and financial empowerment strategies. The non-profit provides job seekers with both hard and soft skills training and partners with employers to provide them with a pool of skilled workers. Last year, MSG helped more than 400 people earn living wages and launch their careers.
